Hopefully not: Hand washing is very effective at minimizing risk for an infectious diarrhea. The proper way to maximize hand washing is to wash with warm soap and water for 30 seconds.

Not necessarily: Being very diligent about washing your hands with soap an water each time you changed the baby was very wise and the best way to help prevent yourself from contracting the virus or bacterial the baby may have. However, there's always still a slight possibility you could catch it, but I'd say your chances are lower with your ardent hand washing. Best of luck!
