Infection: See a doctor to be checked for vaginal or cervical infection. Possibilities include gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas or bacterial vaginosis. Any of these would require antibiotic treatment.

Vaginitis: It sounds like you have vaginitis. Since it has an odor, it is more than likely a bacterial infection. However, it could also be an STD, so don't delay in seeing your family doctor or gynecologist. If the odor is bothersome, you may use a product called refresh Ph for temporary relief
