Aspirin vs APAP: Aspirin is a very special drug that can decrease the clumping of platelets, but this may allow more bleeding. Acetaminophen does not have that effect. If the reason you were told not to take aspirin is the potential for increased bleeding, then the acetaminophen should be okay.

YES.: You can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) Cold and Sinus medicine 2-3 times a day. Drink Warm water/ Ginger Tea to soothe the Throat. Steam Inhalation for Sinus congestion will help. Good Luck
