Please see below.: Everybody has 2 genes for major blood type, so (for instance) someone who is type A could be AA or AO (the O is silent). So if one parent is A and the other is B, the child could be A, B, AB, or O! If both parents are O, though, that means that they're both OO because O is recessive. If their baby isn't type O, then we have a problem!
