Swollen lymph nodes: Lymph nodes often swell in response to infection or inflammation. These gland may feel tender behind the ear or beneath the angle of the mandible. You may also feel tenderness beneath the chin. If the light brown spot has been sensitive for a short period, it will likely resolve on its own. It may simply be an abrasion or pustule. Give it time. If it fails to resolve, see derm doctor
