Gallbladder: not at all unusual. Take something mild like fleets enema or milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) to get bowels going. Consult surgeon if no improvement

Ill-advised: I don't recommend taking a stimulant laxative so soon after surgery, even if it was done laparascopically. Artificially induced peristalsis can be quite painful, occasionally dangerous, post op if the bowel isn't ready to resume working normally. I recommend walking, stool softener, a light diet and minimal use of narcotic meds during your recovery. Best wishes!
