Neither!: Hi Brook! If you are on Birth Control Pills then you should not be pregnant or ovulating. This is the way the pill prevents pregnancy by stopping the ovary from ovulating. Now if you missed a pill or pills then you may have had an "escape" ovulation. If fertilization then this could account for symptoms.
