What eye drop?: If by regular eye drop, you mean artificial tears, then yes you can use these lubricating drops at least 5 to 10 minutes after maxidex (dexamethasone) ( you do not want to wash maxidex (dexamethasone) out ! ). If your regular drops are prescription drops or anything beside lubricating drops, you should consult your eye doctor.
