Reculture : Many false negatives are reported. Consider either repeating the culture or ask the doctor to run a different test.

PCR: Talk to your doctor about PCR testing. Also of interest, I know of a publication in progress which is finding "fungal looking" nails are more commonly associated with bacteria instead. Interesting.
