Depends: DepoProvera provides highly effective (>99%) contraception provided u receive a shot every 11-13 wks. Ur pregnancy risk depends on if u have been off Depo for 2 mos (8wks) since ur last shot (then your risk is almost zero) or for >13wks since last shot (then your risk is much higher). After stopping Depo, it can take months for some women's periods to return to normal or to become pregnant.
