I am experiencing a pulling sensation from behind my belly button as if someone is pulling from!the inside, what can cause this?

Several things: If you're having no severe pain, no nausea or vomiting, no diarrhea, no fevers and no pain with urination then most likely a benign condition. If you have had previous surgery on your belly, could consider scarring or adhesions as a possibility.if any of the above symptoms present,seek medical attention as soon as possible. If not, see your doctor for a routine appointment when available.

Needs exam: Many different things can cause abdominal pain. If this is persistent and/or severe the best course of action is to be physically examined by a health care provider. If it is mild and goes away quickly be reassured that it was probably related to the muscles

Small & Large Bowel: Pain and discomfort around the belly button are associated with small bowel and some colonic pathologies such as early appendicitis, gastroenteritis, constipation. If you experience continued and or increasing pain, fevers and chills you should see a doc as soon as possible.
