A member asked:

Are kenalog (triamcinolone) injections good for ra?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can Be: We typically use kenalog (triamcinolone) or a similar type of medication if a patient has an inflammed joint such as a knee or a shoulder. The drug is typically not used for longterm RA disease control. Again if injected into a knee for example, it can be quite helpful in reducing pain and swelling for example.
