Steroids in vitiligo: Yes, local injection with corticosteroids could help in some cases of vitiligo. There is moderate quality evidence for topical corticosteroids. Michiyukoga (2006) found that those cases of vitiligo where the melananocytes of the skin are affected by an autoimmune process local corticosteroid injection will be of help.
