A member asked:

Can you get aids by receiving oral sex without protection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: Remember that any time body fluids are exchanged: oral sex, vaginal or rectal penetration, a person may pass or receive a sexually transmitted disease. That might include HIV, but also herpes, hepatitis, HPV virus, syphilis. So, until you know your partner's STD status - and are interacting only with each other, use protection. Don't forget birth control, if that applies.
