DEET & Picardin: Effective insect control. Safe & effective: 30%deet, preferably in the ultra frormulation and 20% picardin are proven effective.Of course, if you are in an area with malria you will need to add medication to prevent malaria too. You can make your clothes insect repellent too by washing in permthrin. Other unproven insect repellents are not recommended.
