Possible pregnancy: this may be a normal pattern of menses for yourself, but you may be pregnant. So if your period is late next time you need to have a pregnancy test done & see your Ob-Gyn Dr ASAP.

Many options: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Normal: 3 days late, while can be a little "off" does not fall very far outside the normal in terms of timing. It's possible that your hormones (estrogen and progesterone) are a little different in this cycle, but at 3 days late, I wouldn't be worried for a second. Make sure if you don't want to be pregnant that you are using birth control.
