A member asked:

Why might someone feel a squeezing sensation near the right carotid artery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Carotodynia: sometimes the carotid bulb can become sore, inflamed. Then it can hurt to touch. Must first however exclude other problems masquerading as carotodynia such as enlarged lymph nodes, muscle strain, etc
