A member asked:

Which non-prescription medicine do you find most effective for ankylosing spondylitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: Generally I have not found non prescription products helpful. This disease involves significant inflammation in the spine and potentially peripheral joints as well . Prescription strength anti inflammatory Medicare needed. Of course one could use similar amounts of over the counter ibuprofen or naproxen but I would not recommend this without physician supervision
