Supportive care Meds: Patients receiving chemotherapy do have other issues such as nausea/Vomiting and disease related symptoms which may include pain. The symptom control is an important part of pateint care. This requires other chemicals (medicines) such as anti-nausea medication, using one or more drugs including Dexamethasone a commonly used steroid(for a few days).
