A member asked:

Can children exposed to second hand smoke actually expel smoke from their lungs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Minimal: The second hand smoke, a much smaller concentration than directly inhaled smoke from a cigarette, will coat the interior lining of the lung and little will be exhaled. The solution: don't smoke around your kids (go outside) or quit altogether for the sake of your health (do you want to be sickly or perhaps die before your kids grow up?).
