A member asked:

What are the most common bacterial diseases?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bacteriology: This opens up a whole Universe of possibilities, because bacteria can basically infect any organ system. So it depends more specifically on 'what' you're looking at. For example, with food poisoning, some of the common bacteria are E. coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter and so on. And those are just bacterial species! There are plenty of viruses that can make us sick too. Best to practice good hygiene
