No: Obesity is defined as a body mass index grater then 30. Although it is possible to be obese and not have underlying medical problems like diabetes and hypertension, it is not healthy. Excessive weight often leads to several types of medical problems. Even if you have no medical problems now, long-term you have a much higher risk of developing them compared to someone who's weight is normal.
