Can i eventually go blind from being highly myopic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely, but...: Depends on how myopic you are, but anyone over -6.00 is considered pathologically myopic. You should get yearly exams as retina does become stretched, rarely causing retinal tears or other problems. Most people who are very myopic usually never go blind--you still need to be checked out though, just in case...go see your ophthalmologist for a dilated exam.
