Friable cervix: You may have a friable cervix. Tissue that typically lines the cervical canal has grown onto the outside of the cervix. When this area is touched during a pelvic exam or during itnercourse, because it is friable, it can cause spotting, less frequently bleeding. It has no pathologic significance.
