Itchy bum: Your friend sounds miserable. I have 3 suggestions A. See your doctor to ask for a test to be done on the stool material to identify the worm and then change meds or treat longer. B. Do not use any soap on the anal opening. It is irritating and causes itching. Water only. C. Try a hemorrhoid cream now until the stool tests are back. Also remember to wash hands well worms are contagious.

Worms: Some people following treatment with anti-worm medication, may require an additional dose of treatment.
