Mysterious lump: A lump in that area could be several things. The most likely thing is an enlarged lymph node. Lymph nodes can be enlarged for a number of reasons spanning from a simple infection to cancer. Another possibility is a hernia. This is where a section of bowel pushes through a weakness in your abdominal wall. You should go see your doctor to get it checked out.
