Can be: vascular disease can certainly be hereditary but even if one had the "bad" vascular genes you can still make a huge difference to reducing risk by dietary and lifestyle measures - including reducing stress, eating more of a plant based diet, reduce processed foods, moderate exercise and good sleep. Good luck to you!!

Sometimes: Coronary artery disease is hereditary. So if your parent, e.g., had coronary artery disease and angina and passed CAD to you and you now have angina, then that could be considered hereditary.

Angina.: "Angina" refers essentially to a chest pain attributable to a reduction in blood perfusion to an area of the heart. While angina itself is not heritable, factors that can lead to angina, or heart disease in a more general sense, are heritable - hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and family history of heart disease to name some.
