A member asked:

15w pregnant and have been cramping and having pains on both sides. is this normal? what can i do to help it? have had no uncommon issues.

Could be normal : Sometimes pains bilaterally from the stomach going to the groin can be stretching and growing of the uterus. Known as round ligament pain. Other causes might be cramping due to preterm labor. A doctor performing a cervical length ultrasound can determine if there is any reason to be concerned for preterm labor. Hope that helps.
