Depends: If it's mild, observation. If it's more severe, then laser of the retina. In the most severe cases, then retinal surgery like vitrectomy. Newer treatment are including eye injections of anti-vegf agents.

Retina specialist: Retinopathy of prematurity needs to be followed and treated by a retinal specialist. Most cases can be observed and resolve but more severe cases may need retinal laser, intraocular injections, or even eye surgery.
