A member asked:

Why does the body need a circulatory system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Easy.: Circulatory system is essential to move nutrients and oxygen to cells and to remove waste. Having a transport system allows cells to specialize. If there were no circulation every cell would have to perform many more functions independently.
