Yes it could be: Need to get an ultrasound ASAP....or d-dimer.. Emergency room......better safe than sorry. If your on birth control or smoke...odds are increased...

DVT AND CALF PAIN: There are many causes of calf pain and DVT is just one of them. The gold standard to make a diagnosis of DVT between the groin and lower calf is a venous duplex examination which is over 97% accurate. If worried about having a DVT then this would be the test to have done.
