SSRI side effects : All the antidepressants in the class called Serotonin Selective Reuptake Inhibitors, or SSRI, can cause sexual side effects. Prozac (fluoxetine) can be one of the worst for this. I would discuss the options with the Doctor before making changes. One idea is to take a lower dose of Prozac (fluoxetine). Or, switching to a different SSRI (there are seven), or trying an antipressant which is not an SSRI like buproprion.

Prozac (fluoxetine): Headaches, stomach upset, nausea, diarrhea are common. Also sexual side effects such as impotence later on.
