IBS from adhesions?: ? about 6 months since 40 yo had hysterectomy & now "shooting" abdominal pains; surgeon says is "GI" & Gastroenterologist says "fibromyalgia" (FM)! Intra-pelvic/abdominal adhesions commonly evolve months after surgery of these regions. Concomitant symptoms same as IBS; oft part of FM symptom constellation. Bentyl (dicyclomine) being used. Cannabis might help. Avoid further surgery, which might escalate problem.
