I'm 9wks pregnant can i use lidocaine viscous 2% solution for swishing for gum swelling or blister?

Not wise: Before using any medication ck w your OB. Your "gum swelling or blister" indicates an infection. Cause of the infection needs to be determined and treated. Gum disease during pregnancy can result in short term low birth weight babies. Lidocaine is a temporary pain killer, not an infection cure. See your Dentist immediately. Consultation w Periodontist (gum/bone specialist) may be in order.

Please treat problem: Lidocaine is not a treatment or cure... it is an anesthetic. Please see a dentist, who will consult with your OBGYN after it is determined what treatment you need.
