Yes, it is possible: to get pregnant anytime you have unprotected sexual intercourse. If you are counting 6 days for the beginning of your period then this is not your most fertile time. If you are counting 6 days after your bleeding stopped then your risk of getting pregnant would be much greater. If you do not want to be pregnant, use reliable birth control and use condoms to protect you from STD.

If you have a 28 day: cycle you would ovulate in or about the 14th day after your period starts sperm can live for a couple days with the right conditions in the vagina and uterus so if it is day 6 after the beginning of your last period getting pregnant is doubtful
