Go to the ER now: at your age, it is too easy to break a bone, or have a fracture, which could lead to a blood clot emergency. You need to go to the ER now, and have someone you know meet you there or if someone's living with you to take you there. Do not wait to be picked up, call the ambulance if no one's available now. This could be serious for you at your age & especially waiting 18 hours already. Do not delay!

Get x ray: For an absolute diagnosis get it xrayed HOWEVER its unlikely that you broke a bone without bruising and SIGNIFICANT PAIN not just "swelling" At your age ??91?? I would go to ER and not wait until weekend over!

Very possible.: the older we are , the more fragile our bones. this is possible. however, certain symptoms / signs besides swelling suggest fracture more. These are pain and reduced ability to use the extremity. If these are minimal , then fracture may be unlikely . worst case scenario, a hair fracture that is treated conservatively. if pain and limited movement exist, then a X ray is needed to rule out fracture.
