Not blood clot: If or if it's best to see your eye doctor. Chances are high that is not a blood clot and often blood clots are not visibly seen by the naked eye. It's microscopic and small and the tissues around it could appear swollen (ie, blood clot in lower leg, DVT). Bulging veins alone don't indicate that a blood clot is present. Please see your eye doctor soon to confer & alleviate your worry. Be well!
