Depends: If you are alone, have health issues, and/or have limited social network, it's probably better to move into a retirement community where you would have adequte care and social activities. If you have enough social support, it may be good to stay in your home where you feel comfortable. If you really need help with things, you could apply to have an independent living supoort worker to help you.
