Value of dopamine?: The value of dopamine is that the functions of the brain and other tissues and organs is impossible without it. If you mean what is the FUNCTION of dopamine, a simple answer is a poor answer as its functions are complex; but then the functions of ALL small messenger and signaling molecules in the organism are complex as they have evolved over half a billion years.
