A member asked:

What is the average survival rate for myxofibrosarcoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High cure rate: The fibrous lesion fibrosarcoma is scaled up the ladder from a keloid. Based on size and grade of the tumor cells the cure rate is high and >90% , especially if arising in an extremity. A myxomatous component occupying a major part of the lesion also provides for a better outcome. If the lesion is larger than 10 cm then local recurrence is higher than normal and must be followed by RT.
