Hair Loss: Really depends on the cause of the hair loss. See a dermatologist to have a complete exam and any bloodwork they feel is necessary. There are many medicines to help grow hair including minoxidil (over the counter), finasteride, viviscal professional, and vitamins containing biotin. There are also procedures such as platelet rich plasma injections which can help.

Waxing: Usually, waxing will removed hair that is actively growing. It will not prevent the regrowth of hair like certain lasers do. That is why waxing is done on a repetitive basis.

Alopecia: Two drugs commonly used for treatment of male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) are Finasteride (propecia), and topical minoxidil. In women with this condition, sometimes spironolactone is added if Minoxidil alone doesn't work. There are also surgical therapies and light/laser therapies.

Waxing: Waxing can cause: pimples, ingrown hairs, bumps, bruising, burned or damaged skin, pain, and change in skin color. When you wax, you can expect the results to last for several weeks, but waxing is not considered to be permanent hair removal. Waxing is more effective than shaving because it removes your hair further down the shaft so it takes longer for it to grow back and become noticeable.

Not sure: That is a really good question for which i cannot provide a certain answer. My guess is it can be done if there is no underlying connective tissue disorder but you would have to ask the american red cross.
