Cellulitis: It is infection / inflammation of connective tissue. It results in limited involvement of the dermis with relative sparing of epidermis. Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aurueus are the most common pathogens. A break in the skin from trauma, insect bite, previous surgery predisposes to cellulitis It is common in immunocompromised hosts, diabetics and those with lymphatic obstruction
