Depends: Hi. Novolin is a trade name, meaning human insulin made by Novo Nordisk. It comes in Regular (R), which is clear like water, and NPH (N), which is a white suspension. So if it's anything OTHER than clear or white, there's something wrong. Novo's engineered insulins Novolog and Levemir) are greatly preferred over the old R and N varieties. Stay tightly controlled! Good luck!
