For schizophrenia: Prolixin is the brand name of fluphenazine and used for schizophrenia. It’s initial dose is 2.5 - 10 mg/day by mouth, depending on the severity of the schizophrenia, with a maximum dose eventually of 40 mg/day (although doses above 20 mg/day are rarely needed).
