What are the side effects of aspirin for people undergoing chemotherapy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many potential compl: Aspirin can cause bleeding. Since chemotherapy lowers platelet counts, you do not want to compromise the remaining ones that you as aspirin makes them non functional. it can also cover up fever which is a sign of infection, so it is dangerous to take it...there are safer medicines that can be taken instead, like Tylenol (acetaminophen) provided your oncologist is made aware of it.
