Yes as: it could be from hormonal imbalance and possibly associated nausea. Do you experience nausea? Try eating small and frequent meals to help with this. Make sure you see your doctor regularly to measure your weight gain. See a dietician or ask your doctor about what his/her goal for weight gain is for you. Best of luck!

Yes: It is not uncommon to loss weight during very early pregnancy and is no real reason for concern. The fetus is still very small and does not require much nutrition. As long as you stay well hydrated and try to eat small amounts of healthy foods and you take Prescription PreNatal Vitamins with adequate levels of Folic Acid you and your baby should be fine. You have plenty of time to gain weight
