Spotting: it is not unusual to have spotting and some irregularity in your periods when you stop birth control. This should resolve within 2-3 months. It is very similar to when you start birth control.

Can: Body has to resume control that was being impeded by BCP. Can have irregular bleeding for 6-8 weeks. If severe or longer, see your Gyn.
