Abort the seizures: Typically these are intermittent partial focal seizures during recovery from status epilepticus, but such activity can occur with brain infections and even diffuse brain problems from toxins, poisons, and medication withdrawal. Intravenous anti-epileptic drugs are provided within a hospital setting, and treatment should be aggressive, as there is potential mortality if left alone.
