A member asked:

I never been pregnant and had an iud put it im in a lott of pain he made sure it was in place but hard cramping and urethra hurts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

IUD pain: IUD's in a woman who has not been pregnant can cause cramps and bleeding because the IUD may be in the cervical canal, or just too large for a relatively small non-pregnant womb (uterus). If the cramping continues, have it removed, and think about an alternative type of birth control
