Contractions?: The tight feeling may mean you are having contractions. Its normal to have occasional contractions but if they are persistent, its best to go to the Ob triage unit at the hospital and be monitored to see how frequently they are occuring. Best wishes!

Most likely: Tightness of stomach during the last term of pregnancy is expected, as long as it is not preventing you from doing your daily chores. Some tiredness from walking and working would also be expected. It is for this reason that OB appointments during this period increase in frequency to ensure everything is going well.
